Emergency Trauma Care (ETC)
03/04/2023
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This class will take place at SCALE on March 4, before the Force on Force: Low-Light class at that location. Students in the Low-Light class are eligible for a discounted price.
If there is anything we have learned from watching the news, it’s that you have to be your own first responder. In many historic mass casualty events, we’ve seen as many as 60% of victims die from treatable injuries while waiting for emergency responders. You have to be able to take care of yourself and your loved ones!
This class is designed to provide students with the knowledge to build and use an Every Day Carry (EDC) trauma kit for emergencies.
Students will learn how to assemble a kit suitable for treating wounds from gunshots, shrapnel, or other penetrating trauma and how to identify and treat the leading causes of death from traumatic injury. A variety of different types of equipment will be provided for students to practice with and try out.
All equipment will be provided for the class, but students are encouraged to bring their own kits to try them out and compare them with our recommendations.
Cost for this class is just $50/person or $75 for couples. Take advantage of the discount and bring along someone you care about.
