    01/28/2023
    10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This is a class designed for people who are serious about self-defense.

Many Permit to Carry classes serve a single purpose of meeting legal requirements. While this course satisfies all requirements for a Permit to Carry in Minnesota (as well as other reciprocal states), it goes above and beyond to help participants develop and maintain practical shooting skills, decision making, the mindset of self-defense, and the practice of careful and responsible gun ownership.

If you’re looking for the “Fastest and Cheapest” Permit to Carry Course, this isn’t it.  We strongly believe that getting your Permit to Carry and carrying a gun are serious responsibilities and it’s our goal to ensure you’re adequately prepared for it.

Even if you already have a Permit to Carry and are looking for a renewal, this course will provide you with an excellent refresher for your knowledge of self-defense and fundamental pistol skills.

Topics covered include:
Skills, Equipment and Mindset for Self Defense
Critical Mistakes Gun Owners and Permit Holders Make (And How to Avoid Them)
Physiological Effects of a Confrontation
Deadly Force and the Law
Non-Lethal Alternatives to Deadly Force
Post-Incident Procedures
Minnesota Posted and Prohibited Places
Travelling with a Firearm
Routine Police Encounters
Principles of Careful and Responsible Gun Handling
Proper Storage of Firearms and Ammunition
Optimizing Concealment
Fundamental Handgun Skills

This class is a combination of classroom lecture and range instruction, including a live-fire qualification course of fire.

Required Equipment:
Handgun with 25 rounds of ammunition (Revolver or SemiAuto are acceptable)
Two or more magazines/speedloaders

This course is guaranteed to satisfy Permit to Carry requirements in Minnesota and may also qualify in reciprocal states.  If you have questions about specific state requirements, please ask.
